Help with some weird light on a face

Below is a quick partial screenshot of a photo from my editing app, Photoshop CC, where you can see some sunlight hitting my daughters forehead. How would you recommend I fix this? I'm no editing expert by any stretch. I have LR5 and PS CC currently.

Use the CC Clone Stamp tool, the Spot Healing Brush/Healing Brush/Patch tool in content-aware mode and sample from just outside the bright spot.
Use the samples to cover the bright spot

Never mind, I got it, I didn't have "Sample All Layers" selected. Thanks guys!

I'm guessing this takes some skill as my healed picture looks nothing like Light Guru's, lol.
