i am new here, and i wonder how come there is no attachment option on this forum?

That option is for subscribers only.

If you're interested in helping support TPF, just click on the "User CP" link at the top of the site and then look for the "Paid Subscriptions" link in the bottom left set of links. Subscriptions are $25/year and your money goes towards the cost of running this site as well as site enhancements like the upgraded server we've just migrated to and the new user gallery.

not unless you subscribe. otherwise you will need a hosting site to link your images. do you have one?

I noticed that too, first time I've ever come across that in a forum before. Try a place like www.imgspot.com and then past in the BBCode box that pops up...4th or 5th box down after you upload the photo I think. Photobucket and places like that are nice, but I find IMGspot much more convenient since you don't have to set up an account

photobucket is great. it's free and it lets you create galleries. It also provides links and tags for easy linking to forums and such. It does however limit the size of your files that you upload BUT the amount of space they give you to work with is huge.

If TPF offered uploading to everyone:

1) The site would be slower
2) Subscriptions would be more expensive
3) Less reason for people to subscribe
4) People could just use TPF to upload their photos, and not contribute
5) Poor chase would have a very big bill (I assume its chase who pays???)

Someone please add to my list...

Why do newbies always come in asking this? Everyone wants everything for nothing these days...
