JM, I was talking to the photog here at NASA to see what he recommends, and he suggested that before I buy my camera at another leading retail store, I should check out ACE PHOTO in Sterling. I haven't done it yet, but you might want to have a looksee there. Let me know if it's worth looking at for me once you've done that.

everything i'm finding is going up to and over $2000. i'm stubborn. i keep seeing these ads that offer it for $1600- 1700....not available of course. i'll wait it out and see. i did pick up a D70s last night to see what all the raves about...looks like an interesting kit lens. i like trying these NIkons out.
