I much prefer #2 over #1...the skin tones don't look good in #1.
I prefer #4 over #3. #3 seemed to lack contrast.

In both images, there is too much empty space above the subjects. It would be much better to include more of them and less dead space.

Whether you use #1 or #2, I would also clone out the guy in the background on the left, where it looks like his head is sticking out of her back.
