And so I return to this place after every altercation. I keep finding myself coming here more often than not. To shed away the pieces you dislike. I'm afraid that one day there won't be much of me left to give.

Sweet! So many things to like, here: wonderful light, perfect DOF, vertical and horizontal movements, that warm colour at the knees, oh, wow. Family and/or friends at the creek for an afternoon splash. I want to step into this photo and feel the cool water and just chill. I can even smell the woodiness and earth that you find in these shaded little creeks.

Hm. This must be a level of high art that I just don't get. I mean I see elements that are interesting, but I don't feel like they're put together in any cohesive way.

That's interesting. There are two beauties in the photo. One standing up and one lying down. Unless you were not aware there was someone else in the water. ;-)

Same here....

It feels like...I don't know...It's trying too hard or something. It reminds me of those interesting yet completely random shots from the hip that are so popular amongst the hipster community.

On a technical level, this is miles above those shots, but the content is very similar

Why does the absence of a clear story/motive make something more artful...
