While distortion usually doesn't bother me, I think this photo would be helped with a least some distortion correction.
There also seems to be a red color cast that makes me suspect that your white balance was off.

I like your composition, but it seems to me like you need to pull a little magenta or something out of the photo. You've got a color cast going on.
