What edit style were you going for? Looks gritty/noisy imo. Also looks like a failed attempt at a Dave Hill style of edit lol.

Like the photo, dislike the editing though.

Specifically the destruction of pixels caused by over processing that the others are noting, this creates a cold-unwanted feeling. From what I can tell from the image is that also you lost gradation of skin tones and actually tones in general. A lot of the coloring is blocky, this needs to get smoothed out via airbrushing or just flat out restarted to keep the damage from happening again.

If you want to go the airbrushing route you would achieve more of a dave hill style as from what most graphic artists can tell he just paints over his subject.

thanks guys, yeah I have to look up dave hill edit again, I am at work, monitor sux ass here also. Will redo at home. But I might just not do the PP on it and keep it clean

2nd looks like 100% on the clarity slider in Adobe camera raw or some plugin that adds tonal contrast (Nik color effex, Topaz, etc..)
