Good afternoon all,
My name is Ethan and I live in Illinois. I am very much an amateur photographer who really enjoys the challenge of taking macro pictures of bugs in the summer and snow crystals in the winter. In the past I have owned several different iphones with olloclips which give a macro ability to the iphones. I have used this for bugs and snowflakes in the past with great success, but this year I am trying something new.
My cameras I have worked with have been the
Sony DSC-R1
Sony DSC-828
Sony HX100V
Sony HX-90V
I recently sold the R1 and the 100V to buy my wife a Sony A6000. I haven't used it much to this point as a friend gave a Panasonic FZ2500 to me along with a Panasonic ZS100. I have been using those cameras with a reversed Helios 44M-5 lens to get some good snow crystal shots this winter, although it has been a mediocre winter for Illinois. Cold but little snow.
Anyhow, welcome to me!
