I thought Santa came from Lapland ( I think Lapp dancers do too) and is there another Finnish composer other than Sibelius? I'd like to hear them - I love Luonnotar

Hertz: Yes, you are right, Santa comes from Lapland and that is Finland. The Norhern part of our country is called Lapland. :wink:

And about composers, Im sorry, but Im not very familiar with them. Can only think of Oskar Merikanto after Sibelius. Found a link wich might interest you though.
