Thanks

There was no need to use HDR in these photos. The shadows are still completely black anyway.

beautiful pictures, you put effects on these pictures, it's closer to reality, but effects are not real.
Thanks, Yes only adjusted the Saturation and black point in HDR Darkroom to get the pictures as close to real as i seen them, no other photoshop done.

Any tips to reduce the shadow and add foreground colour? I only have on camera flash but every photo taken was very noisy?

The only way to see more detail in the shadows is to use a GND (Google it) or bracket your shots (using a tripod) and blend them in Photoshop, like I do here: Blending using Layer Masks.

Thanks for the tips, i used a PL and ND8(I think) filter obviously theres a difference between GND and ND will look into investing in one.
Is Bracketing where you take 3 shots at - even + AV? thats what i did with these shots but all taken hand held, Funny enough the ones i took on the tripod came out very noisy, I'm guessing its because the darker it got the more i adjusted the F. lower. Maby the wrong Move?

Still alot to learn but thanks for the push along, might find out how to blend in photoshop rather than HDR Darkroom.

Using a tripod is the only way to do a good bracketing shot. Not sure why your pictures were noisy though. What were your settings? Usually I try to shoot at ISO 100 and around f/11. I don't shoot in AV, I use manual.

For these shots I used between f10 - f15 and auto iso, sorry I can't give you more details don't have my computer on me.
For the shots that didnt work i used f5 and auto iso. I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't come out, the colours in the sky were amazing.

I love the colors on #2 and for first time HDR, you did well. My first time attempts haven't had nearly as nice results. However, don't forget that it still has to be a good picture composition-wise.
