I looked for a Introductory Thread, but I didn't see it

As you may have guessed, I'm brand new here, and also fairly new to photography. I guess I'm a bloomer since I've never been into it, but here I am at 24 eating up all the info I can find... I guess as time changes, so do we.

Just by browsing some of the other threads, and seeing the work of some of the members here, I can already see I'm jumping in the deep end of the pool.

I don't own a D/SLR camera unfortunately, all I have is a what I think is called a "Bridge" camera I got for Christmas 2009. It's a good camera and it's done me well but leaves little room for creativity, so hopefully I can change this in the future.

Welcome to the Forum! Post some photos in a thread for comments. You can find instructions by searching the forum - most people I think do it through Photobucket. Read your camera manual and some introductory books on basic photography and exposure, and read what you can in the beginner's forum. Before you know it, you'll be understanding a lot of it!
