Hi All - Just joined and just about to get my camera. Am upgrading from my Dads old Kodak Retina - wow!! Haven't done much photography for a long while, got tired of the odd looks and comments from people strutting around with their latest and greatest digitals :er:. Anyway I've tried to get something 'good' that suits both pocket and abilities (amateur with hopes). After lots of looking, I bought a Canon EOS 50E on ebay and am expecting delivery tomorrow. Although beginner, I'm going to be shooting slides from the start. Have boxes and boxes my Dad took years ago and they fascinate me as much now as when I was a small kid. I do have a small digital, but with my youthful 'indoctrination', it just doesn't do it for me. Anyway that's enough about me, here's to the pics
