Hi everyone... Im new!!

Hi

I would like to say a warm hello to everyone at this forum.

I have been dabbling in photography for a while.. and since I have got my Canon 20D things have started to heat up. Heating up to take some good shots to justify spending the money that is!!!

Here's a couple of photo's to preview whats in store... There not that good, had you worried!!!

P.s. I dont think I like the depth of field with the leaf or how the cracks become so light in the background.. What do you reacon?? Oh yeah, no photoshop adjustment either on both of these!!!!

Not that good?!!!

The first one is beautiful. The second one just freaks me out. Looks decidedly like a stick insect or something. Little creepy mothers...................

I agree the first one is very pretty - I really like how there are only three main colours and then different textures.
The second one is nice too. I'm not sure about the DOF - sometimes I like it sometimes I don't. Good eye but!

I realised after I posted it I could use the .. Oops!!!

Next time!!!.. once I remember how to do it!!! Been a while.

To get things rolling I might have a look at the months competition, and have a go!!!

I have another crazy sunset one if your interested??? Needs to be cropped yet!
