study the rule of thirds... in this shot I would've only let the grass take up one thirds of the space and the trees two thirds. if you want you can check my blog, one of the things that I've written about is that rule. also the image has too much done too it (something I used to do as well). did you set the camera to sepia mode or alter the photo afterwards? if you shot it originally in sepia mode then I would advice you to stop doing that. always take the shot without any effects and then alter it later in you're photo processing software, that way you get a lot more color information in your image. meaning more details and so on.

I think sometimes HDR can make or break a photo. It broke this one.
