Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hi
I am Ann and I am a Silk Artist. I paint on Silk which is then mounted on canvas or lampshades or made into wearable art. I hope some day to be able to photograph my artwork. I am a beginner in photography. I hope to learn from others on here.
Thank you!

Thank You! :1247:

Hi welcome, when you do decide to photo your work
Here my thoughts for what they are worth.
Use LED lighting, no heat to damage the silk
Don’t go over bright, you don’t want to fade your work
You may want to explore different backgrounds so that you don’t get light bleed through,
I tried to photo calico bags,, I had to place white card inside to give an even colour
Hope this helps

Welcome, Ann. I think that photographing your art will be fairly easy in this age of amazing digital cameras. There are lots of YouTube videos that will give you some good ideas and you can see how other people have approached this same area of photography.

A decent bridge camera or even an entry-level single-lens reflex should be quite good. You could also purchase a mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera such as those made by Sony,Fuji,Nikon, Canon, Olympus, or Panasonic.

Greetings. There is a host of people with a wealth of knowledge on product photography.

Ask, ask, ask.. And then ask again.

There are many who will walk you through it all.
