I'm new to the idea of photography as more than a way to keep memories. I always knew that some photos were art, but I thought I could not do it. Well, long story short, I can't, but it's alot of fun trying. I put some pictures on the Jones Soda website, and they have been basically ignored. I thought I would find a place to talk pics and see what happened. So here I am.

Well, surfing around here I noticed everyone is listing there equipment in the signature. So I guess I should too. It's not much, but it's mine, and I like it. Olympus OM 10 w/ 50mm lens. Yep, that's it, the whole kit. Kind of a small bag. I went two years on a 110. Five years on a 35 auto-focus. For the last 10 years, on the OM 10. I went 3 years before finding out that if I replace the button cell battery in the camera once in a while, I won't get blurry pics. That should tell you my current level.

Welcome Wakko. No need to be apologetic - a camera is a camera. And someone who takes pictures is a brother to everyone else on TPF. Glad to see you here.

Thats the reason a camera has a button to take the picture, because a camera cant do it itself

Welcome to TPF! Yep you have to be born with a camera in one hand and a Jones soda in the other to get any type of acknowledgement from the Jones Soda site but I have to admit they have some great work there. Keep tryin, you never know.
