Hidden Lake

Hello All,

Went for a photo shoot in the canyons of Los Angeles and I managed to capture several amazing photos. One of my 2 favorite photos are posted below.
What do you guys think?

Ok I am new to this whole photography world but did you increase the saturation on the last one or did it come straight out of the camera that way? The colors are just so incredibly vivid. I certainly wouldn't mind hanging out there right now instead of where I am at.

For whatever reason my computer won't let me see the first picture. :-(

I like them both, but the lake one is beautiful!!

You are certainly right, the saturation has been increased in the second picture to provide suiting colors for the viewers. My attempt in photography is to provide my audience some sort of a gateway for few seconds.

The first picture seems to work at my end, would you be able to refresh the page and let me know if it still does not work.

I like #2 better than #1 which is a bit crooked to my taste. From #2 your shot tells me that it is such a beautiful place to be that day...would have been much better if it was shot at sunrise or sunset hours.

In my opinion, 2 is over saturated.

I love the shadows in #1. I think it could stand some leveling though.

That is usually my aim when editing my pictures. I certainly agree that the best hours to take such photos are either sunrise or sunset. Thank you for your feedback!

I like the first one much the best.... it has more points of interest to me, where number 2 has little or none. Everyone is wanting a leveling, but I really think the road in tilting as most do. The trees are what's telling me this. It might look ok leveling out the road, but I think it is fine. The shadows create an atmosphere you would like to drive through.
