High Drama in the Treetops at the Osprey Nest This Afternoon

So, this nice male Osprey was enjoying a mid afternoon snack when he notices an intruder hovering about. Her screeches multiple warnings but the intruder ignores his cries. Not taking any chances he moves closer to the nest and at the same time the intruder takes up residence in a nearby tree.
Papa Osprey doesn't like this and runs him off only to have him make another pass at the nest so he runs him down again. Note that at no time during these skirmishes does Papa Osprey let go of his dinner. I found that to be most amusing.

Enjoying a late afternoon snack, when....

In comes an intruder to the nest area

So, Papa Osprey moves closer to the nest

Running off the intruder from nearby tree

BD, great documentation and he does it all without dropping lunch . I guess that is the osprey equivalent of "one had tied behind my back"= one hand holding onto lunch?
