Both are good. One from "dreamland" and the second normal world. Did you shoot it on the b&w film ?

VERY nice! I think maybe just dial the processing down a hair. I really like the processed image, but I'd like to see just a little more black in it.

The original is a nice shot but the overexposed version really brings out the interesting elements, IMO.

I've been doing mine in-camera and sometimes lightening them a bit more in PP. I worry that I'd be bringing up noise from the darker areas if I shot a normal exposure and then lightened it to this extent, although this image doesn't look very noisy.

Thanks, timor. I shot it with my Nikon D3100 and then converted it into B&W using Silver Efex Pro 2. I thought the second edit kind of sucked, though. Like tirediron says, there's not enough black in it. My goal was to really whiten the sea and give those poles a ghostly look and it seemed fine while I was doing it, but I now think it suffers from over production. I'm also still on the fence on the original shot, which was pretty much a direct B&W conversion with very little pp.
