Here's a few soccer shots from yesterday's match. Nice afternoon light affected by heavy smoke in the area, but they played on ( the clean air agency has it listed as unhealthy for sensitive groups), I'm still wheezing after this mornings walk in the haze.

As for the game, the only goal was scored very early in the game and both teams missed good chances throughout with the keeper making a nice save as the whistle blew to end the game that would have tied it up.

2. She scores at 1minute and 22 seconds into the game for the only goal of the game,,,

3. OK, what gives with the toungue out in every sports when putting in a hard effort? lol

4. Battle in the middle...

5. trying to get the header on goal...

6. Jump ball...

7. A little high stepping could mess up your makeup...

8. She gets all of it...

9. Action in front of the goal at the far end of the field...

10. Hurrying to get the ball in with about 8 seconds left in the game...

11. The goal keeper knocks the ball away and the whistle sounds to end the game...

12. They were so happy with the win...

Very nice. After the first 3 or 4, I was going to comment that I wished we could see more of the facial expressions, but the rest of the images have that in abundance.
