Hiked up Mt. Cowles at night to see San Diego

We read online that it was a 0.6 mile hike to get up to the top and get a nearly 360* view of San Diego. The view was awesome, but it was closer to a 2 mile hike. Anyways, here's the results. I worked all weekend, so it was good to get out and take a break and snag some pictures.

I want to go out to Borrego / Salton Sea and shoot. I'm planning a climbing / camping trip with my buddies.

When you go to the Salton Sea be sure to go to the east side and visit Bombay Beach, then drive down to Niland on the 111 and go East on Main St., then you will run into Salvation Mountain. Keep going east and you get to Slab City. If you keep going East on the main road in and go left at the end you will reach East Jesus. It's worth a walk around to see the artwork made from junk people have left behind in Slab City.

You get the idea. It's a great full day trip.

i have a friend from around there to show me. I've been meaning to go to slab city. It just looks so interesting
