Hint of Autumn

Was hiking in the Indian Peaks Wilderness yesterday. Some of the leaves are beginning to turn.

This is two separate shots focus stacked and staggered in exposure to get the sky, trees, leaves and rocks in the foreground. I used a 21mm prime at f/11 (if I remember correctly). The water portion was exposed for about 1/2 second and the sky for about 1/4 second (again if I remember right).
The bottom half I focused on the leaves in the foreground and the top half I focussed on the bush about half way up to the right.

I used PS to blend the two images together for DOF and DR. It was really kind of an experiment for me so I'm glad it worked out fairly well. Im sure there are way better ways to get this shot and get it much better but it was a good exercise.
