hmmm. where do i start......

20 of us out for lunch today........ one guy, nice guy, DSLR, a noinker something with a SL600 attached.........

a bit of a case of all the gear, no idea........ god knows what he was trying to bounce the flash off..... but then resorted to the little pop up flash.........

I wisely chose to abstain from taking my camera...... but did ask him all about white balance........... and did he have the camera set up to correct it or did he do it PP.............

Sounds like a newbie that was given "expert" advice (maybe at the time of sale), has a bag full of camera items and probably doesn't know how to use them. "Expert" advice is great as long as you understand what they are talking about ... sorry to say there are newbies out there that have possibly gotten taken by the "expert" advice in buying everything they "need".
