Just a little snap of the altar I keep in my window pane.

I love my little altar; it's perfectly portable and powerful, just like me. Ready to move at a moment's notice, but fits well anywhere it ends up. There is so much love to be appreciated and so much gratitude to be given to those who make every stop for me feel like home.

Even without the title or description, this one resonates with me. I spent nearly half my life moving from one place to another (by choice) and I carried a very similar altar with me. Then, it connected me with 'home.' Now, it connects me with all the places I can now call 'home.'

And the photo is, unsurprisingly, very well done.

I'm going through some similar adventures. I've been a nomad ever since I was 18.

Between the ages of 18 and 35, I moved 15 times. Granted, some of those were within the same city, but I still learned to travel light. I've slowed down a bit in the past few years, but I know I've got a few more moves in me :)

Just to prove it, here's a quick and not-so-good shot of my altar that has seen three countries and many many windowsills.
