Congratulations on getting this far, looks like your design will work with more tweaking - but you might want to think about saving up $59 for a Cowboy Studio Stabilizer instead of investing much more time and money

There are some good tutorials on homemade stedicams, but if you look on Amazon, for what you'd spend on a stedicam knockoff, you'll save money over making your own.
