If I were to choose a famous photographer, I'd probably go with Ansel Adams. You could probably write a good bit about him. After all, he invented the zone system.

I would personally stay away for Adams and Matthew Beady. As a freshman in high school my photography teacher just asked for a report on any photographer. Most of the papers end up being about Adams or Beady. IMO both are over exposed.
