They carry those guns at Schiphol in Amsterdam, too. I think many airports nowadays have armed policemen / women. Sadly.

Well, better to have armed police than dead police.

You could already see police with submachine guns on German airports over 20 years ago.

Fairly popular weapon for the police these days. It might look big, but i'm thinking that it's more the subject has a smaller body type.

I seam to remember the Police in Germany were carrying automatic weapons back in the 80's
