Hoover Dam Bypass

First time posting here, thought I'd share a few photos of the half-completed bypass bridge over Hoover Dam outside of Las Vegas.

Very nice shots! You did a good job getting detail in the rocks, what with the dark lighting conditions.

Thanks! The whole area is flood-lit pretty well for security reasons, so that helped with the rock detail. They are HDR images, with exposure times ranging from six seconds to thirty.

From where were you taking the shots? It's not from the roadway, that I can tell.

The first two were taken from the dam itself. The third was taken from a lookout about a mile up the road from the dam on the Arizona side. The sun set at 4:30 and the state police clear off the dam at 5:00, so I was running around frantically trying to get a few good compositions before being ushered away.
