What's new

Hoping for a little feedback. hopefully some good cc will help!

#2 is almost an "up the skirt" view- not cool, especially on a kid

thanks! I will totally try that.

I tried to avoid that when I was shooting. I did notice it but I didn't see anything showing in this pic. I do have to be careful. Thanks :)

the sun was pretty harsh. If you're going to shoot in sunlight, try to do it in the shade where the light is softened. I think the pics aren't bad at all, just harsh.

The fake flowers are a bit off putting. Cute girls though. Are they your daughters? The last picture could have been fantastic but seems like it could have been framed better. Also the grass in 3 and 4 is distracting. It appears you were laying on your stomach when you took the pictures.

Thank God someone said it first.
Harsh lighting, use a more shaded area.
Lower aperature and raise shutter.
ISO at 100.
More space in frame, crop down if necessary.
If you're going to take pictures of posed people, pose them, make sure you can frame body parts or if you have to crop that body parts wont unecessarily be cut off.
I worked on plants and bugs for a long time before moving to people, it was easier to practice on the basics with them, you might try that.

Thanks, all noted!!! I am going to take suggestions and keepe at it.

I know my cropping was awful. The girls were on a hill and I was shooting from below. I really REALLY have to work on my framing. Sometimes I get too caught up in the moment.
