Thank you all for your kind words on yesterday's shots of the Carolina sunset. Today, I've got a few sunrise that occurred purely by happenstance. They were taken from my truck window while rolling down Highway 301. The sun and blue sky were trying to peak thru some grey and fast-moving cloud cover. I simply rolled down the window and started to click. I had one of my favorite lens, the Super Takumar 55/1.8 on the *istD. This is a manul focus lens, so I stepped it to infinity, left the aperature wide open (only because I didn't have time to close it down), and started to shoot. Thank goodness the shutter speed was on automatic. All shots were in RAW format, converted to TIFF, auto corrected, and then layer curves were adjusted just a bit. If the light appears bright, it certainly was. Thanks for looking. Don A.
