I'm with ya mwcfarms. I feel like a lot of the good details have been overpowered by the effect. Overexposed and desaturated, at least she's consistant. lol.
Its what I consider trendy which isn't bad but definitely nothing special. I usually throw a couple edits like that in when I do a batch to see if they like it but it reminds of old polaroid film. Snifff.
All her photos seem to have four things in common:
1) Shallow DOF, taken at an aperture of f2 or lower
2) Over exposed
3) Color and contrast manipulation in post
4) Naturally posed and often moving subjects--like she captured a moment instead of created it.
She also seems to be shooting into the light in these which could add to the washed out look. I would recommend post processing, however, I know canon (and I am sure nikon and many others ) allow you to create custom jpeg modes. You could create one with lowered saturation, lowered contrast and then overexpose if needed and if in a hurry.
