How do I become a pro?

To become a pro, I believe you need to be home-schooled, have a point and shoot and a strong desire to shoot livestock.

Good luck.

I suggest you learn how to do selective coloring

did you stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night?

I love livestock!

He means, "like to shoot photographs of livestock" I think your exclamation of"lovin" livestock, falls under an entirely different realm. Although, if you get a good composition and exposure, who am I to judge.

This is so wrong.

The first step is creating a logo.
Jeez, it's like typing at a brickwall.
I had it wrong then. I thought the first step was to put a really cool watermark on all your images.

No, that is how you know when you are ready to go pro. Once you have cool-watermarked all your images. Even better if other people have complained about how big and obstructive your watermarks are. That's when you're for sure ready, because they're all just so jealous at how obviously more ready to go pro you are than them.

If you want to be a pro, first you need to take your photographic pilgrimage to India, where you must take pictures of beautiful things reflecting in the beautiful waters. Once you have done that, it will all become clear to you about becoming pro, and you will realize that you have been pro all along. Then you can justifiably give asshole critiques in the Professional Gallery.

How many times do we see this same thread... over and over...

The answer is quite simple- and does not include killing the batman.

To be a pro, you need The Vest.

Man you need to enter the professional draft, then you might get picked up by the pros... perhaps a rookie season shot at "Kiddie Kandids" or if you're lucky "Sears". Also, you're going to need professional representation, (read agent) - and it's going to cost you 10% of your "professional" salary. You may want to also take an insurance policy out on yourself, especially your eyes since they are such high valued pieces of human existence; which produce obviously superior quality images. Once you've accomplished all of this you know you've really 'made' it.

if you have sold a photograph then you are already a pro.
