How do I extract photo files from exe?

Are these the photos taken by the hired pro photographer? If so, you may not have the rights to make prints because the copy rights may be owned by the photographer...which is fairly typical. This may be why you received the photos in a slide-show file rather than just the actual image files.
This is how the photographer makes any money, by selling prints & reprints. Although, it's becoming more & more common to just sell the clients the negatives or digital files and let them make their own prints.
Check the contract to be sure.
