How do I take pictures like this?

They are cool...but I have no idea...

It looks like either a fast shutter speed or dark room with a flash burst...to freeze the action. The first one looks like it has been turned upside down as well.

There also seems to be at least two lights, maybe more.

As Big Mike pointed out, the key is freezing action, either through a flash and dark room or a very quick shutter speed. For something that fast, manual focus done in advance would also be a given - I'm unaware of any autofocus system quite THAT amazing.
