How is this crop?

I need your help...free "thanks" till I run out. Giving this to a friend tomorrow. Having it printed 8x10 and having it framed as a present for their house warming party. Before I have it printed, what do you think about the composition? Should I change anything? Thanks.

I think the square crop of the white question mark on a blue ground looks good. Your subject works being centered in this instance. I do fear some people won't get it and claim they see a red X.

Hmm...now that I see images, lol, I am not surevwhich I would prefer. I would say the color image. I like it's color tone, but the blue thing in her hand is bothersome.

Personal opinion, I'd rather see eyes over sunglasses, if the sunglasses don't add to the impact. But you know, it is what it is.

Try desaturating the blue thing, maybe?

Here you go...blue purse desaturated to match the rest of the scene. Good call on that as it was popping.

Is this cropped from a bigger image?

Maybe crop the left, after her upper arm, so her head is nearly the same distance from the edge as his? We're getting into that "what's an appropriate place to crop limbs" zone.

Personal opinion, I'd rather see eyes over sunglasses, if the sunglasses don't add to the impact. But you know, it is what it is.

I also agree with this because most of the time you end up with a reflection of the photog in the sunglasses like in the above pic.

Thanks. I also agree about the sunglasses but I didn't do a photo shoot with them. I took this picture during a wine tour we did. This is the best picture I have of them.
