How many DSLR bodies have you gone through?

Have purchased 8--DSLR bodies since 2000. Started with the Fuji Pro S1 and bought 2-Fuji Pro S2's (had to have two bodies for weddings) the next year. In subsequent years upgraded (always two bodies at a time) to the Fuji Pro S3's--by then we were on the Fuji Talent Team and got our bodies at
COST! Then got two Fuji Pro S5's. These cameras are all Nikon based--so we have a bunch of Nikkor lenses that we kept adding to.

In 2011 I REALLY UPGRADED to the Canon 5D MKII system since we needed the Full Frame format ( not mention 21 MP ) to pull-off the really stunning 40 and 50 inch wall portraits we have become known for. The Fuji 's were O.K. up to 30 inches unless there were more than eight people in the portrait. It's all about noise at 400 to 800 ISO and PIXELS PER FACE.

Anyway I still have the Fuji Pro S5's and all the Nikkor lenses as emergency back-ups.

D40 Daughter is using it still
D90 Loved it, sold it
D7000 Awesome camera still used by my son
D3s Still have it and love it
D600 Sold it
D800 LOVE it, still have it. It's my daily rig.

Several film cameras over the years, then P&S, quite a few, probably 1 a year, since they started coming out. DSLR, only 2. The first got stolen, the second I still have. I try not to fetishise my hobbies.

2011 - D3100 - great camera, girlfriend now uses it
2013 - D7100 - absolutely love this one

I plan on keeping the D7100 for many years, no reason for me to upgrade to FX and the D7100 is pretty capable in most situations. I don't do photography for anyone other than myself.

Over the last 6 years I've had a d40, d90, d300, and d7000.

Hobby but I've done some paid work and have purchased based on what I typically shoot.

I'm no Pro but I hope to add a 4th DLSR body here pretty soon…D610 or D800.

Currently:

D3100 (sold)
D300
D7100

Film bodies Pentax, Nikkormat, Nikon F, Rollei, Mamiya and Minolta TLRs, Rollei SL66, Hasselblad, Mamiya RB67m, Canon - all gone

D70 in 2003
D200 2006
D700 2009 and 2011
Oly EP3 in 2012
D600 in 2013 (for about a week)
Olympus OMD 5

I tried the D600 to see if lighter weight would work but I didn't like it. Lovely IQ but body didn't work for me and lenses still too big.
Sold everything Nikon in 2013 and bought OMD and a quintet of good lenses and dollars left over.
I plan on getting the next m4/3 dSLR from Olympus.

Don't 'work' in photography, am strictly an amateur.

Leisure use only.
I started with a D3100, and got a T3 right after that to see what brand I liked better and stuck with Nikon, sold the T3.
Then sold D3100, bought D5100.
Then bought D7000
Then bought D7100 (just recently)
I still have the 5100, 7000, & 7100.
I have yet to be able to go out with the D7100, as extremely cold weather has fallen on us here along with and impending snow storm which is coming at us as I type this. I am hoping to go out tomorrow in sub freezing temps to at least become more familiar with the 7100.
All this been in the last 3 years, before that it was Fujifilm S1000 and another Fujifilm S5700(?) camera, with a couple of point and shoot Nikons and Sony in the beginning.

D70 (2004 or 05)
D200 (2008)
D300 (2012)

I still have all three, but only really use the D300 and even that's only occasionally since I usually grab my X100 if i'm shooting digital.
