How many of you photographers are taking video with your DSLR?

How many of you guys have ventured in the world of video now that DSLRs are taking gorgeous videos?

Dedicated video cameras are easier to deal with, but DSLR noise and sometimes image quality is better Than anything under $5000

I had never shot any kind of video before I got my T2i. I've played around with it a bit while my cat was running around like an idiot. I figured that would be good practice to work on smooth panning and focusing I've had some fun with it. I might consider shooting more if I had an ounce of inspiration in that area.

I think I have shot ONE video with mine and it was of my son's championship match last year. It just doesn't appeal to me.

Doesn't hurt that the 60d is very geared toward video eh?

With my 60d, my main complaint is the sheer size of the files. 1080p at 24fps and I'm looking at 1gb per 3 minutes of video! But i don't mind, 1080p is very good now, but in 20 years of advancing technology, 1080p will be comparable to the way we view VHS quality today.
