Well, tis the season.... for lake effect snow lol
For those who are unfamiliar it's when the wind picks up moisture from a large body of water and dumps it as snow on the other side. It's early in the season so Lake Huron hasn't had a chance to freeze so it's all open water, that means it is all one big snow making machine lol. The ski clubs are in heaven!!

We got a good foot overnight and it's supposed to continue like this until tomorrow, and then snow some more all week, wonder how high it will go lol

I grew up in Michigan and am very familiar with lake effect snow! Shoveled my way out of it many, many times. Eventually I went South. I remember pouring a cup of tepid water over my car's lock just so I could insert the key.

Ha! Yep you totally get it lol We left both vehicles broadside to the wind here one day ... bad idea... talk about frozen solid!

Ah see shovelling and plowing the driveway is Mr. Rabbits job, lucky for him the driveway is tucked in the trees so unless it comes straight down there is very little accumulation on it!

Luckily here in SE Michigan there isn't Lake Effect snow like western MI or Ontario. once in a while though ...
But I still don't like the stuff.
