How much higher will it go?

Ha so how are you guys makin out? We have about 2ft now but have gotten off pretty light, lots of places have 3ft+, the sun is currently shining but tonight that storm that is coming across the States reaches us, not supposed to be tooo bad for us though.

...where i live we only ended up with a dusting (8-10").Them poor @$#*^&%'s about 25 miles north got up to 55".It never really shifted south as they expected.They always get blasted up on Tug Hill......

.....they just said Redfield (Tug Hill region) topped out at 67"....now have brief calm....

Ice storm is starting now. It's raining ice -- makes for entertaining driving.

We got about 3" here. And my snowblower won't start. Crap. Oh well, it's good exercise.

I don't envy you guys. Driving's bad enough with a dusting. An ice storm? A blizzard? Yikes.

I drove this truck last night. Ive been stuck at home most of today due to snow. This was the last 24 hours, well actually 20 hours; it hasnt been snowing for a while. Love lake effect.

Just in case anyone's wondering... it's 9/48 here in Victoria at 6.20pm, and there was a little rain earlier this morning, but it didn't interfere with my bicycle ride.

For those who are unfamiliar it's when the wind picks up moisture from a large body of water and dumps it as snow on the other side. It's early in the season so Lake Huron hasn't had a chance to freeze so it's all open water, that means it is all one big snow making machine lol. The ski clubs are in heaven!!

We got a good foot overnight and it's supposed to continue like this until tomorrow, and then snow some more all week, wonder how high it will go lol

I've got two buddies outside Toronto (one in Burlington and the other in Stoney Creek) and they're just about over the whole "snow" thing...

Ah see that's the same as us, we are in a bit of a valley on the river so some skims over us and lands on the higher elevations all around us, we got off relatively easy these few days.

Hey Steve, we are about 2 hours north of them in the Hanover area, they got hit by the storm a lot harder than we did, it just kinda skimmed past us but dumped on them, we have gotten more snow from the squalls that followed it, in total over the past 3ish days we got about 3ish feet.

Currently the sun in shining and the sky is blue and damn is it pretty out there!

Looks like a decent covering =) I have fond memories when I was younger of my dad clearing the driveway and piling all the snow in one spot for me to make an igloo with. Ah those were good times.
