How NOT to clean your DSLR...

That's purity that is; you can scrub all you want and all you'll find is Canon all the way through (like a stick of rock).


Now Nikon on the other hand - I hear that is on so weak it will blow away in strong wind to show the Sony underneath

Computer geek that I am...the compartively tiny fan on the processor in the lower right, the computer is either a 486 or a first generation Pentium...eg, late 90s or so. So this likely a 'set up' shot. AKA, how to get a laugh out of your old computer.

If the camera took a plunge into salt water...it's going to be trashed anyway. A good rinsing with clean water may be the only salvation. And notice that the battery door is open, so hopefully there isn't any electricity running through the circuits.

Actually, I cleaned a computer once that was (probably) way worse than this. It had sat in the basement of a building that was up to the ceiling of the ground floor in muddy flood waters for a week. I did manage to recover the data from the hard drive.

So you are saying the average rock will take a picture as well as a Canon will? lol!

I have to admit.. the Sony part bothers me! But they do make GOOD sensors... which Nikon then improves upon! So thats OK!
