When I have to spend more than 5 minutes cloning out dust spots.![]()
That depends which sensors you are talking about.Ive had my camera for nearly a year now and i have never touched/cleaned my sensors. Should i?
I wondered this same thing because I was recently somewhere that does it (about 2.5 hours from me) and thought about having it done. They (Calumet) do it for $60....which isn't too bad, but still money I'd rather spend elsewhere. On their website they recommend having it done every 1-3 months!! I went to my handy dandy hadbook and it said exactly what gsgary said....when it's dirty!! I don't notice dust spots in my photos so I'm waiting!
Exactly, don't fix it if it's not broken. Take a photo of a white sheet of paper with f22 and look for dust. If you can't see any, don't waste your time.I have a few times in the time ive had my camera, 4-5 years? If you see spots in your pictures, its time to clean.
