how to add an image

I must be missing something. I read the forums how to add images, but there is no upload option in my 'new thread' window. How do I attach an image to my post?

You have to upload to a 3rd party site first, then click the little picture of the mountains and put the link there. Then you can post a picture.

I don't have a advance window, there are no options. Text format etc. Just a blank box for writing text.

????? Posting rules at the bottom of page says that I may not post images. But I was able to, because I've done so in the past?

You must be a subscriber to TPF to upload to the forum, otherwise you have to use a third party host such as Photobucket & link to it.

At the bottom of this page on the left is a box that shows Posting Rules. I thought it was showing may not & may rules for me.

Ah, that's it! When I posted before I must have been a subscriber. I haven't been here for a while so I must have forgot to renew. My face is red!
