How to Avoid Double Posts

When I post a reply, it alomost always posts twice. Why? What am I doing wrong?

Are you sure you're not double clicking? I do that sometimes. I would have thought the flood protection would have stopped double posts. :?:

I don't think I'm double clicking. And how do you get those Emoticons into your message?

They use BB code. When you use certain letters in a special order you get an image. Or you can just click the little pictures to the left of where you type.

I have had double post before and what i am doing is by habit once i post i hit the back button and that causes it to give me a timeout error and when i refresh it post the message again. You may or may not be doing this if you are then use the link at the top of the page to go back to the fourm and not the back button.

Still can't handle the smileys, though. Do you double click on them?

You should just be able to click on em once. Maybe you've got em disabled in your profile or something?
