Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hi
I recently got an invitation from getty images,so made an account now I am facing with some problems

the images which were selected are mostly of 1200x1800 pixels which roughly translates to 2.15 MP it wants >3MP

I have the raw file and I think redoing the retouching in PS is gonna waste me my time

Can we just copy effects?from the PSD file? I have the PSD file and RAW file of the image?

any help? Youtubde video?

You could always try resampling the edited psd to the pixel dimensions of the raw file.
Then open the raw file in PS separately , copy the untouched image and slide it in as a layer just above the background in the resampled file.
That might work.

OR resample the edited file to a larger size to make the 3mp limit. (that makes not much sense anyway.)

What kind of effects are we talking about?

When it comes to processing there are three kinds of edits I can think of.
First you've got the most basic processing in Adobe Camera Raw (white balance, contrast, saturation, lens correction, etc.). These edits are never permanent and can be copy-pasted onto any raw file with the use of Bridge (and probably Lightroom too, though I don't have that). I simply right-click the raw in Bridge and it has copy or paste edits options.

The other two kinds of edits are in Photoshop itself and are always in the PSD file.
One is permanent, the other not necessarily.
Non-permanent edits are edits that can be done with adjustment layers. Brightness/contrast, saturation, photo filters, color balance and all those kinds of edits can be done using simple adjustment layers. You can copy-paste these layers into any other PSD you have. (The use of these layers is usually called non-destructive editing.)
Permanent edits are actual pixel-editing filters such as blurring, sharpening or noise reduction. They are applied to a specific layer and edit that layer. Therefore these effects can not be copied as a copy would include any image data.

You can however record actions if you feel like it.
I use it every once in a while. You simply hit a record button and apply your edits. When you're done you hit stop and you'll have an action which you can apply to any document.

Thanks for your replies,
No mostly they are retouching(not editing IMHO)
adjusting the constrast, brightness, adjusting the curves and using high pass and such!

Do you think doing it from scratch is gonna help or can I just resize it? wont it affect the quality of the image?

It might affect it.Why not just make a copy and try it?
