How to get such pastele colours

Hello,

I wonder how to get such pastel coulors and lights with PhotoShop or Lightroom? Do you know any filters or presets I could use ?

The colors in the photographs have been desaturated a bit and the processing is a currently popular 'look'.

The trick is making sure the subjects skin tones don't get to desaturated.

Those photographers likely have recorded (or bought) a Photoshop action that they can apply to many images in a batch process.

Agree. Florabella rocks however I prefer strobist look and use of light

Start with a cohesive color palette and good, soft light. Then use a gradient map set to color overlay at low opacity (you'll have to choose the colors for the map based on the color palette of the image) to help unify the colors of the image. A very modest positive exposure offset push coupled with a high pass layer set to soft light for microcontrast, all adjusted to taste. . . . .. . . . or just buy some actions.
