how do I get this look? I love the lighting.. The colour, exposure.. How the rider grabs your eyes.

1. Take a similar style photo.

2. Buy Photoshop and learn how to use it. There is a good bit of post processing done on that photo.

Use a fast shutter speed, blow out some highlights and up the contrast.

Not as much now my iPad brightness is back up haha bit overboard. But I do like the photo and the lighting in the roost.

It requires photoshop, but a technique to do that isn't all that difficult once you know how. I could do it in around 5 mins.

Yes, in PS you can isolate the subject with masking techniques and edit them separately which will give you this kind of pop. Not that difficult...
