Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I rarely have to hang a bag to my 190. The centre column has no hook under it and I can't figure out how one would use the 'hooks' on the right to hang anything on it. Anyone care to tel me or better yet show me how they do it?

I use a bungee cord with hooks on both ends.

Can you guys post a pic? I'd like to see it. The hooks need to be damn solid so either side doesn't come off.

It looks like the Manfrotto 190 tripods don't come with a weight hook and you'll have to improvise.

Actually the 190 tripods do have a weight hook (the manual mentions it as well) although it isn't obvious at first glance. $manfrotto hook 1.webp
On the left side of the tripod (in the picture) you can see a small knob between the legs, that is your weighthook, there's also a loop between the other two legs (you can't see in this pic) that weight can also be attached to via bungee cords or hooks as SCraig mentions.

Hope this helps!
