How to know if the camera is used or new?

Hi

I am planning to buy the a camera from grey market.
How do I know if the camera has not been used earlier.

I know you can find the shutter count in the images,but I do not know how to see it.

and is there any other method??

If you buy from a reputable dealer, it will be new unless listed otherwise. Obvious signs of it not being new are all the accessories having their bags opened.

You can check the shutter actuation number by reading the EXIF information in the files.
