How to photograph a solar eclipse

There will be a partial eclipse here Wednesday. I have a Canon R7 and various canon lens from 60 mm to 150-600mm - any advice? I do not have any specialist equipment.

I used a mirror to reflect the eclipse onto a white sheet of paper- camera set up on a tripod and remote via iPhone & cameras Manufacturer App.

Don’t point your camera at the sun without the appropriate solar filter.

With a the right filter though you can get some nice shots.

Edit: Also don’t look through the optical viewfinder even with the filter, use the EV.

I concur with the above statement. You could burn your eyes as well as cause permanent damage to your lens and camera.
This is the filter I used. Thousand oaks

You'll be able to get the photos on the outer circle. The centre one can only be done at totality.

You can also shoot sunspot after at anytime you like.
