How to shoot this style?

Hello I'm new here and new to photography. I'm familiar with gear and terms, but not techniques to use them.

I am shooting some glass product and love this style. Can anyone give their thoughts on how to shoot this?

It appears to be lit from behind.

I suspect some amount of work was done in Photoshop to make the background black.
Most of the flower is a copy of itself that has been flipped vertically.
